    7. Objectives, learning outcomes and obtained knowledge During the laboratory measurements the knowledge learned in the subjects Intelligent Buildings and Lighting Systems and Computer Aided Design in Building's Electricity will be practiced.
    8. Synopsis
    1. Comparative study of thermal and current protection of motors
    2. Examination of a coordinated surge protection system
    3. Examination of the effectiveness of the lightning protection interception system
    4. Lighting control using the KNX system
    5. EMC testing of light sources with a GTEM cell
    6. Application of a building information system to increase energy efficiency
    7. Examination of the high-voltage laboratory's protection against electric shock
    8. Intelligent measurement of a building's electrical network
    9. Control of lighting to constant brightness based on illumination measurement
    10. Measurement of AC and DC fields occurring in buildings

    (4-hour laboratory sessions)
    9. Method of instruction Laboratory practice
    10. Assessment Successful completion of all laboratory practices.
    11. Recaps A maximum of two of the measurements can be made up. Missed measurements should preferably be made up during the semester by joining another measurement group. In reasonable cases (e.g. illness), measurements can be made up in the retake period.
