7. Objectives, learning outcomes and obtained knowledge The aim is to introduce the students to the theoretical approaches of economy and to provide skills in solving problems and making analysis in the related field.

 

Obtained skills and expertise:

 

The knowledge acquired in the course will help the students to trace and understand the current processes of economy and to conceive the inner laws which govern these processes.

 

8. Synopsis The players of economy, their roles, applying the methods of  statistical physics to economics, economical models, markets (ideal, monopol, olygopol and concurring), constraints, the role of state as regulator, performance indices of national economies, monetary policies and financial systems, IS-LM model, reasons for unemployment, inflation, economical growth, business cycles.
