A Very Fond Farewell
Dear fellow colleagues, professors, families, and all the kind and noble souls who have participated in our upbringing,
Here we are at last, at the final doorstep of our journey, at this noble and prestigious institute. Many of us embarked on this journey with our own individual dreams and goals yet I believe all of them are noble and selfless in the core. Without a doubt, all of us faced plenty of difficulties in this journey of ours, in our quest, and in spite all of them, we pushed through and had our share of victories, laughter and joy. Moments like those tempered us, made us stronger. They made us who we are now, standing right where we are now, not looking down but far ahead of us, into the basking dawn where our future lies.
All of us are rightfully here, chosen ones by our own merits and pushed through all the obstacles with intellect and perseverance. Yet, as it always happens in life, one journey does not end without a new adventure knocking at our door. We stand at yet another crossroad of life. Many of us already have copious plans for the future. Many of us are probably unsure still. I say to you: “All is fine.”. All of us here are a product of our own investment into something unyielding, incorruptible and unbreakable, something that will last us for a lifetime. We are products of investment into the knowledge. Thus, I say onto that: “Let us have courage! Let us stoically embrace the life that comes to us! Let us gracefully and bravely hold the burden of this world on our shoulders, standing dauntless in the face of adversity, knowing that our foundations we built on this institute, through all these years, will be as strong and as stern as our will and perseverance through all the hardships these years! Let us bear it in the honors of our ancestors who brought us to this place and in honor of professors, mentors and all the good and kind people who carried all the knowledge of many before them and passed it onto us!”
It is great honor and privilege to be counted among all of us, among the Class of 2024. May you find the fortune in life in all roads that follow!
